CAROLINE GOODMAN-THOMASES

HEAD TRAINER

​Caroline has over 20 years of equestrian experience. She has been passionate about horses for as long as she can remember and started taking lessons at age 7. Soon she could ride off the lunge line and was riding any and every horse she could get her hands on. After almost a decade working in the film industry she has chosen to fully dedicate herself to her original passion - horses!

As both a junior and adult rider she has trained and competed extensively in the hunter/jumper, equitation and dressage arenas around the tri-state area. During her college years she was a member of the Bard College equestrian team, competing successfully in the Zone 2/ Region 1 division of the IHSA (one of the most competitive regions in the country). She has been working on horse farms since she was 12 years old, caring for horses, teaching lessons, training horses and running summer camps. ​

Caroline's passion for horses and riding extends far beyond the show arena. She has driven a horse-drawn caravan through Ireland, worked on a cattle ranch in Arizona, ridden through the ancient ruins of the Navajo Nation and studied natural horsemanship.
